These four Neri et Bonacini masterpieces have been well hidden in private collections for decades - I'm sure Marcel Massini knows where they are, but he's not talking. I haven't even seen a picture of one since the last time I went through Fitzgerald & Merritt. I get short of breath just looking at them.

Early model. What a Nice car.. Easy to work on and fun to drive. Turned allot of heads. Nobody new what it was.
Here's more on the car.. This one undergoing a Full Restoration.. Finished pic's at the end if you get tired of watching bad body panel shots.

We all like C1/C2s, but I would guess that, in the future, cars like this produced in the 50s will command as much as high end Corvettes. No derivative styling and truly one of a kind.

The whole time during this thread, I have thought more of us are missing the mark on Best Automotive Design over Best Looking or Best Performing.
Thus realistically, things like the VW Bug would be a candidate, or a Truck.

1953 Studebaker Commander. A Raymond Lowey design that was decades ahead of its time!

or the 911, it's a model which only received minor cosmetic changes throughout it's lifetime and the base shape has never changed. nevertheless most people consider it one of the most beautiful cars.

I consider different Corvette generations as distinct models! But then a long lifetime doesn’t necessarily need to be a qualifier!
The way I would make the definitive list would be year to year! The most bold, striking, innovative, the forefather of historical, etc etc etc
