The wider rear quarters are growing on me, i have said this before im not a purist, but im pretty sure i would only do this if what i had was a project, i do love the way these cars look, these quarters follow the body lines very nicley , however unless your looking to have steamroller meats on the back you can achive a bigger tire patch with pinched trailing arms and the proper backspacing on a 17" wheel i think you will get the look your going for.

I have to admit, that while I like the classic lines of my red c2, I have thought about adding flares above... But now that I also just bought the Black car, once I lower it, put on some 17 x 11's and 335's..... its gonna be just like the pic that Mark (Factoid) posted... I was putting some of my cars to bed for the winter earlier today and every time I look at the Black car, I get more excited about it....
