[C2] Diff carrier mounting bracket replacement....
Just for the record the TSB has the generic fix and refers to the shop manual for the differential part....
I don't know, unless there is more damage than I would think that this procedure isn't being followed unless the case is damaged...

I experienced this issue during my first year of ownership. Prior to deciding to replace the mounting bracket, I tried other methods to keep the bolts tight. Nothing worked. Since many of us were new to Sting Ray and their issues, repairs were done on our own. I can still remember looking at the assembly and not knowing how to get the longer bolt out. The solution became obvious in a short amount of time. Get a big screw driver and hammer, punch a hole in the storage wall so the bolt could be removed. The hole is still there, and after 540,000 miles not presented any issues. I do check this assembly quite often for tightness and have not had to replace the mounting bracket since. It also could be that I no longer do the street racing of past, powering shifting 6500 RPM’s. I could make the hole look a lot nicer and even put a plug in it. But that would take away some of the history.
Happy holidays and safe driving to all,
Steve Stone (original owner ’63 triple black convertible, 570,000 miles)
