Makes perfect sense to me. Look at a C5, and a C6 or C7, tell me you can't tell the difference.

DANG! I thought I was the only one around here who knew what a Columbia Butt was! I even drove a Ford one time that had one-------------but it had 4 pots on a Merc flatty.

OK, I'm telling you. I don't know the difference. They have ALL become monochromatic, aero slick, cookie cutter look alikes.
I totally, completely, 100% agree that the later model Corvettes have more power, better handling, better braking, LOTS of power features, fine tunes, and air cond.
But they just DO NOT have the magic attraction of the early Corvettes. I NEVER take a second look at a late model Corvette when it goes by--------------------------ACTUALLY, I want it to get the hell out of the way so that I can proceed. But when an early Corvette goes by, I stop and observe it closely.
NOPE, I cannot tell which late model is which--------------------------------and I don't care to learn either. They just have no attraction for me.

You're almost certainly in the minority, Tom.

I've never heard the term.

If this was already mentioned, my apologies. It might be the badge, not the body.

Mine is a 1996 C4, and although it looks very different from a 1984 C4 it flies the same Corvette flag.

My framed print of the Corvette generations shows a different flag/badge for each generation.

Just a thought.
