I pretty sure the GM display had everything moving in slow motion so to speak and the body was on hydraulics too go up and down. It's a nice display. I love the lineup of tri-5 Chevys. Dennis

I talked to the Martin Museum rep (Michael?) and he told me the same thing - they made this themselves to let the kids see how a car is put together. I have driven by the Museum many times (on I-17 up by the Loop 101) but never gone in. Now going to do so. He said the Museum is done just as a hobby and he has 66 cars there.

No, they didn't make a convertible that year so he meticulously grafted one on....a beautiful triple black car with redlines. Proof that GM should have made a convertible that year!

Wish I was there as well. Woke up to 2* this morning in southern Minnesota.

Here it is....looks soooo much like it could have come from the factory....

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing!

All those open hoods with nothing on the air cleaners, hope the owners were being careful.

Thanks for posting the great pics!
Martin Auto Museum is a worthwhile place to visit. You can also have your club meetings there. They have a large room set aside for meetings.
Last time I was they had this very interesting Duesenberg on display, and Leo Gephart happened to be there discussing the car and the dual carb setup.
