Hey Chris, good luck!

First I'm not sure what they mean "Art Morrison Sport Chassis", I have checked numerous time with AM have never seen a chassis for a C2. The front ride height is ridiculous and in actual driving would tear the front fender out unless they have air bags. Ask me how I know

Page 24 of the AM catalog talks about their C2 chassis.
Many take the wiper arms off and put a billet cap on the shaft to take a nice picture. Do people really drive these cars in the rain anyway? Just make sure you have a fresh coat of RainX on the glass, no need for wipers if you get stuck in the rain.
All show cars are not necessarily driveable, and not all driveable cars are show cars. The new people don't understand this. People buy the look then later realize they don't drive very well. Funny thing is one notorious builder (who's not this forum) of these cars even told me people who buy his cars complain about them.
The car looks great Chris. I wouldn't be worried. You're seated in the car on the roller coaster, the bar has come down, and now headed up the first hill. You can't get off, so just enjoy the ride!

What no wipers??? I guess they will not be singing in the rain.

I will be attending Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale and am thinking about buying a restomod because it will probably be less expensive than a full build AND I don't have to wait 18-24 months. What do you think?

I picture my luck being the senario where I get the the auction, excited to bid on my dream C2 resto-mod, my anticipation pegged at redline, then seeing the car come up, & watching the bids skyrocket past my max immediatly... thanks for playing!!

Can someone give me a clue how to "do" Barrett Jackson? Buy a week pass? Where to hang out, etc? Where to park/shuttle, whatever. I live in Phoenix but this will be my first year.

I'd be most interested in looking over cars and talking with sellers, maybe watch a few C3's roll across the block.

Are you single? Dress like you have money and hang out in or near the bidders area, stroll around and look at the expensive cars. Wait for some 30-40ish Scottsdale hottie (they are always in pairs), to start talking to you. Or, start talking to one of them.

maybe or maybe not; you never know unless you try.
I have to say, I’ve always had a blast at the auctions, especially Barrett-Jackson when I have just been a spectator. Some auctions can be a little boring while cars are rolling across the block, but it’s still fun to look at and appreciate all the cars. I’ve never walked away form a mecum, Barrett Jackson, or Gooding auction where I was disappointed in the cars consigned. It’s not always fun selling, but it’s a great short vacation to attend any of the above mentioned larger auctions.

'they are always in pairs'...… Bidders are like that too..... In the event that things go 'well', someone can drive the car home.....

That depends on the state, as does any registration, taxes. etc.

I have not been for several years but the way I used to do it was to take my motorhome (you can rent one) and get a space there. A Buddy and I would buy a bidder's pass and split the cost as it gave you the bidder and guest passes which got you into the event every day, two Gala passes and drink tickets. I don't know what the bidder's pass gets you these days. That was the least expensive way to do it back then and you did not have to fight traffic unless you left Westworld for any reason.

I think the linkage is in place, the ends are just capped off from what I can see. So, you would just need to remove those caps and add the wiper arms. Im not defending his car as I have not seen it in person...and, after all, he is my competition.

As has been said, you can be a bidder, but you'll also need proof of appropriate funds in a bank account. Check the Barrett Jackson website for that. If not a bidder, you pay about a $45 entrance fee and about $8 for drinks...still a lot of fun if you like cars (watching) and things of "car culture"...once you go in, you'll quickly get with the program....parking is horrible...take a taxi or shuttle if you can.
