Tint Plexiglass?
I have the original plexi in the removable hardtop in my 63. The plexi has spider-web and other usual problems of that vintage. There is nothing that is a visual hindrance while driving. My problem is with the non-filtered daylight passing thru the window and sometimes adds to over-heating the cabin. I believe that tinting that window and my side windows would aid in reducing that issue. If plexi can be tinted please share your experiences. Thanks- lilb

Can't be done. There is some sort of "gassing" that occurs, and creates bubbles. Glassworks sells "smoke", and "green" tinted" plexi. It works very well, and looks really good.

Nor sure if this would work or not but I wonder if the black spray paint you use on head and tail lamp lense work work. You would have to put it on in light coats until you get the shade you want. You could try it on some scrap plexiglass first to see how it would look???
