Lectric Limited ques

Re: Lectric Limited ques (67435animal)
Bob, when you said "LISTEN", thats the same feedback I've heard a few say about M&H. Pacific Corvette told me they've sent various OEM harnesses to them upon request. (A master copy, I guess you would call it) That tells me their striving for accuracy and I'm guessing, maybe an improvement here and there. I've heard they listen to individuals like you and I too.

Re: Lectric Limited ques (Jimbo64)
I just finished the book "Corvette Restoration Guide, 1963-1967," and at the end is a list of parts suppliers. Among them is M. Parker Autoworks, where they make wiring harnesses. The book's author says these people make the "perfect wiring harness" and "don't think about any other wiring source" and that they make the harnesses for other vendors. Anybody used them for a harness? Their site is http://www.factoryfit.com

Guys/Gals, Thanks for all of the good feedback concerning your expeiences with
harness vendors. Interesting note is that M&H is at $365 [internet prices are different from catalog prices according to tim at M&H] while lectric limited is $383
on both the internet and their catalog. If the quality and service are comparable
then cost alone would make this a no brainer. Again thanks for all the great inputs. Jimbo 64  :seeya

Corvette wiring by Lectric Limited
I have bought from Lectric Limited for many years, and for many of my Corvettes. My experiece has ALWAYS been very positive. Their wiring harnesses were all made exactly as my original harnesses (wire colors, lengths, gauge, terminals, connectors, etc). And they fit perfectly. Consequently, LL is my only source for Corvette wiring.
To answer the original poster, their dash harneses DO come with a new, original fuse block.
In regards to the spark plug wire boots tearing. This is most likely NOT due to a manufacturing problem, but most likely due to operator error (ie. removing the boots when the engine is warm/hot, removing the boots without a proper puller, not using a thin coat of dielectric grease around the inside of the boot (not the terminal) prior to installation).
Hope this helps!

Try the competition M&H Electric at http://www.wiringharness.com. They make a superb product that, last time I checked was priced lower than the Corvette catalog vendors.
I have used them for an engine harness, a backup switch & harness, and spring ring cables. Everything was an exact duplicate, fit perfectly, and was in stock. When I called to order, it was at my door 3 business days later.

How to contact M&H Electric?
Or are we saying that after 11 years LL is ok?

used my first lectric limited harness in years . Been using m/h all this time . Installed a customer supplied dash harness in a 67 , now I remember why I dont buy them bulbs fall out if you breath on them and having to take the fuse box apart to find the wire they forgot to plug in. I must be lucky getting all the harness they screw up.

Understanding the original post is 10 years old, I will tell you that I used LL for everything on my 60 in 2005. (not spark plug wires)
As I remember the only proplem I had was the sockets on the back up lights. I needed to splice the originals in so they would plug in.
Everything else worked and has been working.
