Michael -- I'm indicating Sept 2005 for the date on the eBay photo. The original pic as downloaded was very dark so I "massaged" it.

I pulled the tank on my old '65 VIN 01487 back around the mid-'80s. Fuel gauge was OK, but the sump hoses were rotten (weeping).

I have had 2 with bad sending units. I am replacing all the soft line sections as I restore them, they are not in good shape. My white '64 has had a problem with the metal plates, fiberglassed in on the bottom where the fuel line connects, leaking into the fiberglass around it, I will have to also replace those too.

Yes, "N03" is the RPO option code for the 36.5 gallon tank on the order form and window sticker.

Ok I get it. You young guys like these letter/number ID's. When I found this website I didn't know what a C2 was. To me just a 65 Vette. So a 36 gal tank is just a 36 gal tank. Us old guys have a hard enough time remembering let alone specific parts numbers. I'm pushing 76.
