[C2] 67 intake part number help

67 intake part number help
so looking for a date correct intake for a 67 300hp engine. They’re for sale everywhere but dates are always for 65 and 66. Need intake part number 3872783. Is there some reason I can’t find one dated 67?

The archives should have the story on this, but Chevrolet knew that this manifold would not be used for the new 1968 cars. So they estimated the 1967 model year cars that would have this engine and manifold and cast them in 1966. That way they did not have to worry about them anymore and could cast other stuff. JohnZ wrote about this as did a few others. In fact JohnZ got the NCRS Judging Manual revised accordingly.Do a search for details and the full story.
