Yep Don't know if it is original or not.......I'd give you $100.00 for it...If it is original, it's worth more than that IMO!

I would be interested in it as well. I need a red mat for my '61....which has no mat at all. If dcamick doesn't want it, I am very interested, as it matches the patina of my car!!

Actually, we are, sort of, swarming over this part like buzzards...LOL!
Have a great weekend.....
By the way, OP...A new repro mat is around 350.00 to 400.00 US. Ebay has originals (I think) at around the same price.......I think, a good deal would be 200.00 guestimate!

As I recall, original 61-62 mats (except black ones) had ink stamped part nos. rather than molded.

What it is worth will depend on how fragile it is.
The one I purchased at Chev parts counter in the mid 1970s, was falling apart when i removed it in 2009, trying to pull it out of the trunk area, gingerly, it woudl tear at the inside corners and cutouts for the drain tubes. It went into the garbage and i used trunk liner material instead as it was much less expensive than a repop amt,and looked better anyway, but it isn't NCRS.

Very true. The mats seem to self destruct over time. I bought two 61-62 mats from a Chevy dealer in '73. They were undisturbed, laying in a closet inside until about 2012 when I sold them. Both were prone to tear and seemed almost brittle toward the edges. They had dried out in spite of an easy life in a 'controlled' atmosphere.
