Default Brand New 1965 Corvette

Came across this gem and thought it might bring back some memories of the period for some … what a Bonanza.

If you watch the old Bonanza portion of the commercial for the '65 with Pernell Roberts driving it, check out the bumper alignment - about 56 seconds into the above clip -- so much for the factory getting them arrow straight off the line

Agreed that it was not a great wardrobe selection, but Elizabeth Montgomery would have looked gorgeous in a burlap sack.

Live well,

Noticed that. But went back for a second look and I think it may have mostly been a shadow on the pass side grill area.

Thank you for such a wonderful bit of nostalgia,OP. I was 4 when this was made so no recollection, but I remember watching the later episodes of Bewitched and Bonanza. It's sobering to realize those folks are no longer among us.

You can bet all those vehicles used in shows, promotions, etc. were given the show job treatment before they left the plant. Probably reviewed by the Plant Manager on down before being released.

Funny coincidence reading this thread while spinning some vinyl this morning... the view looking down at my coffee table

Maybe not the best angle, but the bumpers look pretty nice to me!

That video brings back memories of when it was a big deal to reveal the "new model year Chevrolets". You would actually get excited to see the "new" models. Wow have times changed.
