Exterior color arctic blue is not stock, frost blue is. I think you can get frost blue with red interior but I’ve never seen it.
My 59 is supposedly arctic blue, again, not stock.

I want to have red interior, but not with usual suspects.
Is your car with the same color as in the link? I believe pics are little ”touched” but that combination is perfect in my mind. I would really liked to get the color code for it.

The car was that color when I bought it and I’ve gotten many, many compliments on the color since I’ve had it, about 6 years now. I like it much better than frost blue and it is metallic.
I had it color matched when I had the hood painted about 5 years ago and this is what they came up with,
Acrylic Lacquer single stage
1980 Ford Mustang "Arctic Blue"
Color code 70
Dont know if that helps.

Arctic Blue is a stock color for '56 and '57 corvettes, but not '59. Venetian Red and Shoreline Beige were the two interior colors available these two years. My avatar is of my '56 with beige interior. I have seen original '57s with red interior. This is an incredible color, just be sure you keep the metallic flake almost to a dust consistency. So often you see these early metallic colors with too large of metallic flake and it just doesn't look right.

First no ones brakes into turn 8, and anyone who manages to weirdly oversteers into Turn 9 will probably die!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Dick started in C1s, they always had a sentimental spot in his heart! These blue grays or silver were a color Bill Mitchell chose, going back to some of the factory prototypes! Most of the white/blue trim striped racers were due to that being America’s international racing color!
My Father and him used to go to lunch in each other’s cars going back to the late 1950s. My Dad had a silver blue Corvette, and Dick used to always say he liked that color! That car was on Dick’s website till the end!
Sorry, but I never talked to him about any of the C1 cars!

If you compare 54greg’s car and 59BlueSilver’s car, the dont look same. Does the color change that much in sun light?

No, you’re right, the colors are completely different. I guess anybody can call a color anything they want. Here is a pic of the can after they color matched it, I don’t know paint but maybe your painter can make something of it.

I could NEVER, EVER imagine a blue car with a red interior. YUK!
THEN, when I saw a 57 a few years ago, with Arctic Blue and red interior-----------------WOW--------------I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will not happen, BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, if the 56 were to ever get a total repaint, it would be Arctic Blue and red interior.

I am totaled confused regarding what I am seeing here with colors. I know that the computer monitors can give false colors but your car looks like 1958 Silver Blue to me.
Below are pictures of my original paint 1958 Silver Blue car taken in 1977. These are scans of photos taken at that time some may have faded and the color looks different in different light. If that can in your post that is marked as Arctic Blue is what the paint on your car is then the color name on the can is WAY off.
Also there is a picture of a 1957 in Artic Blue with red interior in this link. I believe member Dan Hampton now owns this car and may have better pictures of it.

The 59 pictured is probably not GM 56 Corvette Arctic Blue, there are different Arctic blues for different makes and years of cars.
