Default Roy Braatz / 1955 Copper

I have been informed by member Sam Kalmuk that well-known forum member Roy Braatz has passed.

I am posting the note sent to me by Sam. RIP, Roy.

Roy Braatz passed away, almost a month ago in Hawaii, at his Daughters house.... His Memorial was Mar 19th, 2019 in Hawaii....

He was an Outstanding Corvette Enthusiast, especially the 1955.... He was very generous in passing on Info about the C1 Corvettes to
anyone who was interested... May he Rest In Peace.

I am sorry to hear this. I enjoyed Roy and his comments on the forum. He was an early Corvette pioneer and loved his C1 car.

Roy was an early member of NCRS and always posting great tips on the Corvette websites. He will be missed.

he had such a big impact on this hobby. being there from the start of most solid axle clubs and reproducing 53-55 only parts.
