Headlight Voltage
65 Coupe, 327/300
I just tested voltage on my headlights with engine running and brights on. I'm seeing 12.3 volts at idle at 12.5 at 2500rpm. I am considering relays but do the experts here think it would add much brightness? If so, should I buy plug and play relay harness or just relays and wiring and splice into the headlight harness in the engine bay before the split? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you read the article IIRC it states that just a small drop in voltage will reduce headlight brightness by double digits percentage.
Relays will help and the lights will not be too bright....I had relays in my 61...
