Default 65 396 Radiator Shroud

Needing to replace 65 396 radiator shroud with correct part. None of the vendors seem to have one in stock. All say it will have to come from manufacturer. Some vendors show it as being in two pieces assembled. I called my mechanic to verify and he says the one on my car is one piece. Should the correct part be one or two pieces? An earlier post on here says they are glued together. Looks like I have a two week wait at a minimum from the factory.

They are bonded at the top and bottom overlapping seams. I haven't seen the repo. ones but have heard negative comments about the quality and correctness of them. Since they are a 1 year only item, actually less than 1 year, NOS ones are extremely rare and if found, expect to pay $500 or more per side.

We got ours from DeWitts along with the radiator. Both fit fine, doesn't overheat.
