The ‘65 “Fuelie” we sold at Barrett-Jackson is back in the shop for a little while, the buyer was nice enough to loan it back to me for filming the Motorhead Garage episode last week.
Woah..something wrong with the a pillar to roof line of that truck....corvette looks nice, though.
So, when I said something was wrong, I meant that it seemed like some sort of conversion and not an actual C10....Your Corvette is (without saying, but saying) awesome...that conversion isn't something I don't care for....folks' opinions will vary....

If the B pillar was the same height as the A pillar it might look a bit more convincing or maybe if the roof was the same color it won't be as noticeable.
I also applied the primer “frit” on the back glass and windshield, planning installing tomorrow. The flush glass is going to be nice, however it was a ton of work.
Installed the glass, turned out amazing! Also, finished the carbon fiber on the glove box door, and custom console, doors are getting installed tomorrow, then wetsanding and buffing. All trim and bumpers have shiny new black paint. Disregard hood alignment, it’s just sitting in the opening.
Test fit the rear spoiler before the carbon fiber goes on. Also cut and fit the smoked plexiglass wickers, I’ll be using stainless hardware to attach the wickers.
Finished the glove box door and other carbon bits. Just started sanding getting ready to buff.
Installed the vent windows, door glasses and trim, all painted black, I’m loving the clean look, sure hate to put a mirror back on it as slick as everything is. It’s going to be an exciting week as everything comes together. I’ll try to keep the progress photos posted.
If I missed this previously, sorry for asking something that was answered before....are you just using poppers for the doors? If so, what is the backup plan should they fail to open door?
The doors are only electric with Dakota Digital magnetic actuators, with a hidden cable in case of emergency along with remote battery post in case of dead battery. They were on the car when I bought it, absolutely love the look, especially with the flush glass.
Absolutely love the flush glass....both from an aesthetic and functionality standpoint. Being able to drive in the rain and not worry about leaks would be a new and welcome experience!
That's an awesome looking conversion on the Silverado! Can you give us more details? Is this a one-off or is someone turning these out these conversions in quantities?

Finally got the 63 ready for it’s photo shoot tomorrow, it will be headed to Barrett-Jackson Vegas auction next month. Sure was nice to see it out in the sun.
