Not sure what you're talking about. The ST 12 has pretty good info on the assembly of the windshield frame. There is also a ton of information on this forum (search function). If you're talking about the header stainless, you sit it on top of the completed assembly, and hit it with the palm of your hand. It snaps right on. You have to separate the stainless from the steel "u" channel in order to assemble the frame. If you're trying to assemble the frame, with those two pieces still together, it ain't gonna happen.
