1959 vette I have no tail lights, brake lights and interior lights. Is not the headlight switch or fuse. I recently replaced the cap, rotor, condenser, coil and ballast resistor.
Were the lights working before you "replaced the cap, rotor, condenser, coil and ballast resistor"?
You need to get a wiring diagram and a voltmeter and trace the power flow to those lights that are inoperative.

I don't know of any single issue that would cause just those things to go out. The brake and courtesy light (the single light just above the radio under the dash) get the voltage on an orange wire from the fuse box. The tail lights get their voltage from the headlight switch. I just assumed by interior lights you meant courtesy, you could have meant dash lights? The only thing that ties the tail and brake lights together is the ground shown in this diagram.
The wiring diagram I have is lacking any simplicity, but it looks like the orange wire also goes to the headlight switch. Can you use a voltmeter to measure the voltage you are getting on both sides of the top fuse in the panel and post back. You may have lost connection on your orange wire circuit coming into the fuse box.
The orange wire shown by the red arrow goes to the courtesy light, the headlight switch, and the brake light switch.

I also do not have any dash lights. I changed the headlight switch using my friends switch from his car (knowing his works) and made no difference. I think all of this worked before my tune up so my thought was that I hit a wire or something under the hood. Any relation to the coil or ballast resistor?
Check your fuses......I'd start with that switch you put in..........The head light switch controls everything that you have stated does not work.... I don't think a tune up would have anything to do with your problem

The headlight switch from my friends 1960 vette works fine on his car so we took it out and put it on my car and it made no difference for my problem. We put it back in his car and put my original back in my car. So it is not the switch. I will change all fuses and then check voltage.
I’m not near my wiring diagrams. But there are two, two wire bundles that come off the ammeter terminal. Make sure they are tight and connected. I don’t remember if the lights come thru there but check anyway.
There's a big red wire that feeds into the headlight switch. Check for power there 1st. then trace back. You do have a test light ?
Just thought I would follow up on this. The problem was the red wire feeding the fuse panel was corroded so bad it broke away from the terminal. Found that when I pulled the fuse panel from the fire wall.

The more I work on and the more I drive my '61, the more I realize everything on the car is dangerous!! These 'fast tractors' are death traps!! LOL.............

Glad you got that figured out. And thanks for the follow-up!
