For those running LEDs, where are you running the LED flasher ground to? I dont see any bolts/screws to metal within reach of the pig tail. I was hoping to avoid getting super creative.
Greg - I just added one to my '66 - I fit it in the bracket on the driver's side of the vertical panel above the console - does your car have that bracket? I just bolted the ground pig tail to the pass side vent cable bracket - the closest screw to the flasher bracket
Thanks Tom, got it.... next question, do I need to retain this janky, I mean.....errr.....factory correct piece of state of the art 1964 electronics, or can I ditch it with the installation of the LED flasher?
(side note, I cant wait to eventually rewire this car nose to tail, but thats a project for another day)
I did what Tom did. I believe you need the bottom piece for polarity issues. At any rate that's how mine is and all four corners work very well.

P.S. I don't have that capacitor in the car. Never found one in that location so PO somewhere along the line ditched it.
