54 windshield
Can anyone tell me whether or not you have to glue in the windshield on a 54 Corvette. The upper molding deems to work it's way up off the glass. Original molding and original glass. Seems to fit well with new rubber but you can tell it works its way up in the center. I've only set silicone in the bottom molding track .

Often times when you have that situation, you'll find that the tabs on the windshield posts are broken.
When they're broken, the top pulls back on the entire frame, and lifts the upper moulding off the glass.
Check your tabs. They can be repaired.

Couple thing
Typically the AM glass is too small - cut short at the top
Also glue it in
also do not latch the conv top latch super tight - it will pull the frame off the glass
when your not using the the car - leave the latches un latched
