"Presents as a numbers matching engine and trim tag etc."
I was looking at this ad for a '63 fuelie priced at $63 K. Saw the "presents" thing in the write up. Can anyone please translate?

It means the numbers on the pad match the VIN, and the colors match the tag, but I DO NOT guarantee it was born that way.

However, that car has lots of what appear to be original parts on it. It may be fairly original.

As far as the ad in question the use of "presents" is a weasel word of legal-ease to keep the sellers out of court because they already know what they have isn't born with -- anything...
