My brother is talking about polishing the console on his 63. how shiny was they to begin with I have seen many but never really pad much attention to them? I know Franky will have the answer for me. Thanks George
Not so much shiny as a brushed satin look....and they are"bright dip" hard anodized so polishing them would require removing the anodizing so that will also make them more prone to scratching. This is how they should look -- a fresh Andy Cannizzo restored console, just unwrapped:
This is my spare, he restored another one that is in the car now.....neither are for sale.
