What I find interesting is why would one check a thread that is titled with a subject matter that is not to their liking. Okay,.maybe curiosity, but why make a negative post on that thread other than to irritate others or maybe to increase their post count? Just asking.

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. I never understood the post count issue. I guess to some, a high post count indicates knowledge/experience. To me, it indicates someone who spends all their time on the computer and zero time in the garage doing what they want others to think they are experts at.

I have been on the CF for quite a while. Yes, my post count is pretty high BUT it averages out to 2 posts a day. The Statistics tab tells me so.

Corvettes have been a passion for me since I was a kid; I don’t think a couple of posts a day is that bad.

Now, if you visit the Off Topic or Politics sections you’ll see there are people there with counts in the tens of thousands!!

Well i hope they are still 2020s when they resume and not what the OP says,,,and my order is pulled,,, the entire point of my order is to have a 1960 and a 2020 together, not a 2021. though a 65K corvette with the performance it has will still be welcome for the $$ as a daily. It will be an interesting comparison to my Audi R8s. There is one C8 here in my neighborhood...looked good moving. Seen it in person a number of times and sat in it, but static. I personally like it obviously. $$ to value of a base car LT 1 with Z51 package is just a great deal.

What's far more interesting is how some can't help but indulge in personal attacks when someone's opinion differs from their own.

I never look at my post count (or "likes" given by others) - frankly don't even think about it,....also couldn't care less about my NCRS member number either....apparently some think its a big deal....
