Can’t fully answer your question, as no side pipes on my ‘65. This is the 7000 Quickjacks and there are hard rubber blocks that the frame rails sit on. Zoom in and you can see the rear block. Maybe someone else could confirm the clearance.
I have owned the 5000 series since July 2017. Great unit, works as advertised. The pictures shown are using the 3" rubber blocks between the frame and the jack. I now use both the 3" and 2" rubber blocks together to give me a little more clearance when working under the car. There are zero clearance issues with the side pipes. I just used it, again, this past weekend to do a oil and filter change.
Also, being as it folds flat to about a 3" height, you can store it under the car and out of the way when not in use.

I find that you have to be careful where you place the jack, too far back and it hits the rear tire. See the pic of lief’s car and notice how close it is to the rear tire. Other wise like lief said you need to use both sets of the supplied blocks to get enough height to clear the side pipes.

That was the first time it was used...noticed the lack of rear tire clearance immediately. Adjusted accordingly ever since. Might, also, mention that once the car is raised and in the locked position, you can remove the hydraulic hoses and get them out of the way so you can maneuver a creeper around without having the hoses in the way.
