$3,500 is a bargain... if that’s the real deal. Sure like to see the pad on the other “Original”engine in the car now

What’s the current bid or buy it now price? And casting date Dec or Jan? Sorry if I missed these details.

Seller's description: "Casting number 3869942 date code A 15 6 suffix code IP vin 6112888. Block is standard bore but has a sleeve in #1 cylinder. Has been pressure tested and surfaced lightly that side only. Also has a weld repair on the rear intake surface on the same side."
It is for sale for $3,500 Hemmings parts for sale.
January 15 casting date. January 26 assembly date and
February 3, 1966 build date. Looks legit to me.
