I have a leaking RF caliper and want to purchase a new (rebuilt) 'O' ring SS style. Lone Star is wholesale only. Where have you purchased rebuilt Delco Moraine 'O' ring calipers from that have correct casting numbers? I find the generic Delco Moraine casting but would like the correct casting number for 1965. Thanks.
Have your calipers ever been sleeved? If so, just purchase an O-ring kit and do it yourself. It is very easy. If not already sleeved, do you have the original puck type pistons and matching calipers? If so, do you wish to keep them? Jerry
I had intended on adding the "O-ring" kit to my previously sleeved front calipers, 65 396 Roadster, but when I disassembled them I didn't like the look of the sleeves so ordered O-ring calipers from Corvette Stainless Steel Brakes in Florida. Tried to paste their link to this reply but it appears to be 'under construction.

My caliper is the wrong casting. I'd like to have the correct casting #'s if possible.
It's not the best practice to replace just one caliper on the front or back, but it's your car. I know some vendors carry Lone Star. Just ask for details. Dennis

I've never heard that? What is the reasoning behind that?
I just changed the left front caliper and replaced the pads on both front calipers. Car stops straight with no issues. I'm not disputing what Dennis said, by replacing the pads on both calipers might have prevented any pulling to either side.

I can appreciate that pads on both sides should be changed as the compound can be different from old to new pad, plus the wear on one side or the other thus the travel distance may change.

Travel distance is almost zero whether new or old pads.
All set, ordered from Lone Star. Because I wanted the 'O' ring design I need to put them on both sides of the front. They will have the correct casting numbers. Of course a new set of pads for each. Great service & knowledge at Lone Star.
