temp guage issue
Anyone experienced a temperature guage that the pointer slowly moves counterclockwise down to about the "6 o'clock" position when the ignition key is turned off and moves back to the proper, just under 100 degree, position when the key is turned to the on position. After driving, the guage hardly moves at all when the engine reaches operating temp. This is a new guage recently purchased from a high profile corvette supplier. The guage was replaced during cluster restoration due to original fading, but the original one worked perfectly. Before I assume it is defective, I thought I'd toss it out there in case anyone has experienced it, or has any thoughts.
