My '63 has gaskets under both door handles. Approximately March build date. Could have been a running change, or added at some point in its life for all I know.
Another FtF swing and a miss. There were thin black rubber gaskets under all door handles on mid year vettes, but they should be barely visible.

Agreed. There are two gaskets under each door handle. They appear on page E9 of the '63 AIM:

But there are plenty of suppliers who list them for sale...... It is an excellent way to screw up your paint trying to force one on under the lock bezel.
Yes I am glad that I asked this question. That explains why one of my handles had what looks like an original gasket. the other one does not have one. I will buy a new pair.
