Having an issue with my '65 327 turbofire. Got in to start it up and had nothing, dim interior light but that was it. Replaced the battery, and tried to turn it over again, turned over but died right after. I have all my interior electrical back but I get nothing when I turn the ignition. New engine wiring harness so I don't think it's the "red wire syndrome" I have read about. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated!

The red wire problem is not in the wiring it's in the connection between the male and female plugs on the bulkhead on the inboard most connector. The pin on the upper left as you look at it with the large red wire gets loose or corroded. Really sounds more like a battery or starter connection.
Believe it or not, when most people check battery cables, they focus on the positive cable exclusively. Check your negative cable carefully for looseness, corrosion or broken connections.
I took apart all the connections to the battery and starter and connected everything again, and it came to life. Had some unexpected trans fluid on the ground but will track that down another time lol.
