Looking for the best wires for a 66 C2 - will be adding electronic ignition module. Not a stickler for OEM looking/correct date set - just performance. All the same or anyone have good experience with something that makes a difference? Thanks in advance - and if this thread exists let me know.

Magnecor makes good wires with suppression. You'll need to call them to place an order.

I like the accel wires with the ceramic boots...you can now get the ceramic boots in black so they dont stick out quite as much as mine.

i'm doing this right now,,i just installed my original 64 365 intake on my zz crate engine.i wanted it to look as stock as possible so i had to use the 64 distributor as the crate hei would not fit the 365 intake..i used a pertronix and wanted the wire shielding and stock routing so i used the stock ac delco wires

the stock intake allows me to use the original air cleaner which also touched the hei......looks almost stock except for the aluminum heads john b

MSD provides great wires, though, they might cause a bit of a problem slipping them into stock wire looms.

The MSD Streetfire wires are my current favorite. I was a Taylor fan (and still am) for a long time, but the MSD are less expensive and appear equal in quality IME.

Taylor or MSD most FLAPS wires are junk. I like the cut to fit MSD wires personally. They are a tight fit in the factory wire holders but they do fit.

Another MSD fan. I used the MSD Super Conductor cut to fit wires. If you are staying with the factory plug wire routing, the standard Chevy set will not be long enough.
