That car has been for sale for a very long time. There is a reason it has not sold for a seemingly reasonable price, even for a "stripper". I would tread very carefully and do a thorough, in person. inspection. If it checks out, it could be a good deal in the upper 30's.

...I'd love that car all day long. Have always loved the three speeders even up to '69. 40yrs or so ago, a good friend of mine had a triple black '63 conv 250hp 3speed and he kinda got tired of it and let me drive around. I loved that little black '63. Even though I was 19yrs old, driving around even a "base" 3 speed black '63 Corvette convertible is what wet dreams were made of!!! I didn't care at all that it wasn't a tire scorcher, I just plain enjoyed cruisin' that little car all over!!!

Since we are talking GTO’s, I had a ‘68 in HS when the car was 12 years old. It had a 2 barrel 400 and a 3-speed. It had a tach in the dash. It also had a ton of rust and 100k miles. I paid $300. I was told at the time that the 3-speed was base and the 2 barrel was a “step-down” option. It was green with a green interior.
