I've given this some more thought, and I think I'd actually want to do a raffle for a C3. Being that my club is all about C3s, it would seem kinda inappropriate to raffle a C5.
So, now I'm wondering if people would pay $50 for 1 of 1000 tickets for 1978 Pace Car or a 1982 CE. Of course, the car would have to have very low mileage and be in great condition!
Would the tickets be a tax-deductible donation to this charity? What charity do you have in mind. Don't mind losing my money if I know it's going for a good cause and I can scratch it from the tax form! BTW I'd take a C3 or C5 (heck, it's a Corvette) but my better half has a thing against the C3's.
I love all corvettes,I have seen at least a hundred raffels for corvettes over the years. The only rafffle tickects I have ever purchased have been throught the national corvette museum and they were all for C5's The majority of raffel cars I have seen in person have been old ladys in new dress's So I would never take a chance on a raffle with a used car I could not see.

Yes, they would be tax-deductible.
I haven't decided on a charity yet, but possibly the SPCA or Humane Society.
