I forgot to mention that my Hedmans had plenty of clearance to my old canister filter.

Finally found a set of headers. I spoke to Frank at Pertronix about Dougs D350 1 5/8" long tube ceramic coated . He assured me there was adequate clearance to the canister oil filter as well as running above the bottom of the oil pan.. I bought a set and found them to be the best fitting headers I've ever installed, and the ceramic coating was perfect. I very rarely find a product so well made. When I find one I like to share it.
