Gooollllyyy!!! Now I do have something to digest :rolleyes: !! Lets see if I've got this at least close:
2.0 pixels is enough.
2x Optical zoom or more.
Normal batteries (good point).
USB or other easy download.
SIMPLE to operate.

The provided software packages can make a difference too. My neighbor likes my software better than the one they received. I don't know if you need to check the system requirements to run the software.
At first I didn't think much of the movie making feature, till I started using it (like at the SVRA event I attended!), now I wouldn't buy a camera without it.
All these choices, and you'll soon be back to the forum asking about the best printer options..... :D

I use an old Sony Mavica at present, but am in the process of upgrading to a Sony CD-400 at 4.1 megapixels
