tom two way I know first is to go to reply you want to quote then repy to it and you will see the words quote original quote click on ir and it will go into your post
other way is to copy and paste what was said
I can't remember how to copy the text from someones post and add it to a reply on the quote format. Can someone explain how to do that again?
With the mouse, point to the text you wish to copy, then push the left mouse button and hold it while hi-lighting the text you wish to copy. The text should turn blue. Then right click and select COPY. Then, right click were you wish to paste it. A menu will drop down and select PASTE.
Or highlight the text then "control" + "C" for copy.
And "Control" + "V" for paste.
[QUOTEThanks, I forgot it was that easy. td
Glad you have it figured out Tom. BTW, thanks for the radiator, it arrived (apparently) unharmed. Now, if it will only warm up a little bit around here so that I can install it... :seeya

When you use the "quote original post" link below the "Reply" box, that's what formats the quote with the lines above and below it - copy and paste doesn't add the lines. If all you want to quote is part of the original post, use the "Quote original post" link, then highlight the parts of the original text you don't need and hit the "delete" key and it disappears (don't delete the
portions at the beginning and the end or it won't format).
