For the long items you can purchase a 4" drain pvc pipe at Lowes, etc. and cap it, stand on end, cut to length desired and need less volume of Evaporust.
I have also used the liquid Evapo-Rust on long items by digging a shallow trench lining it with plastic, carefully placing part on top of plastic so as not to puncture, pour liquid in, cover with plastic. when finished pump the liquid back to container and fill in trench. The part needs to be completely submerged in the liquid or it will leave a demarcation line between areas treated at different times.
