I am a hot rodder. But wasteing time, effort and money on this
hood is a waste . Buy a small block hood , paint it and worry about
other problems. I guess you can spend the money on a 67 BB hood
but ...........for you its just for looks. I doubt you need the room.

Feel better? Glad you were able to get that off your chest.
After I filled the crack with clear nail polish I would get some 3m clear bra material and carefully cut a piece that would go from the top of the stinger to just over the crack . . if done right it would be barely visible and prevent further damage. If you dont have the skill a local clear bra install person could do the job for not too much money
