I'm getting a vertical shake on my passenger side, car tracks straight and this only happens above 60mph. I replaced the tire and wheel but that didn't solve the problem.
Make sure that the shock is properly connected at both ends, and if it is, make sure the shock still "functional".
If the shock is non-functional (easily depressed & extended), just a very small imbalance or initial bounce will cause the wheel to start "bouncing" along, like a basketball.

make sure the weight is still on the brake drum. If it is missing only way to correct is new drum or find a shop that has the old style balancer that does it with the tire on the car

When I modified the drums for my home made HD brakes for the 56, I took them to my machinist that does engine balancing, and he balanced them.
