Jim’s Battery
I need a new battery for my 67 and saw people had mentioned Jim’s battery. Any one deal with this company? Do they have the R59? I see they don’t have a website. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes he has the R-59. I can't remember anymore but he bought out another resto battery company. Yes I bought my last 65 gold top battery from them a couple and a half years ago. AGM batteries.

There is ONLY one source. Battery Central Mall buy from Jim's.
You can always build one yourself. Others have done it.

There are only a few battery manufacturers left and in the last few years their lifetime has diminished substantially. Try and find a replacement for your midyear today at AutoZone or OReillys with anything more than a two year prorated warranty. Higher prices and lower quality seems to be the trend. I just had to buy batteries for both my 65 and 66 and went with Optimas to the tune of about $600 for the two of them.

Put in a order for two batteries a month and a half ago and they still have not processed the order.

I have generally been getting 4 years + on current batteries for my newer cars. So I change after 4 years to hopefully avoid issues.
The gel-cell or AGM reproduction battery for the 67 gets around 6-7 years if I am careful. I am starting to notice some deterioration lately, and will order a new reproduction in a few months.

I called Jim’s today and was told there is a 4 week wait. Everything is built to order. She said they are waiting for parts for the R 59 so I’m guessing an even longer wait.
