I would start by reading a paper called The anatomy of a C-2 door. It contains a wealth of information about how to disassemble a door. It would also help if we knew what year car you are working on. I rebuilt both motors on my 66 coup about a dozen years ago. As part of a restoration, I removed every piece of the door and rebuilt all. It was not too difficult with the paper I referenced above. Robert,
What year car is this for? Your profile shows a '76 and working on a 58 restomod. The "door anatomy" article is for C2 coupe.
