If you were to add both you may run into fitment problems. For example, the dimmer switch may be buried so deep in the combination of jute, Hush Mat and carpet that it may be hard to operate with your foot.
It may be difficult to fit that thickness of the combined three under the edge of the shifter console all the way on both sides and under the edge of the door sill plates. Unless you are trying to go strictly NCRS I would go with the Hush Mat and forego the jute.
As far as being an advantage to adding both . . . You might get a bit more sound deadening with both but it would not be worth the potential fitment issues; especially in a convertible where likely most of your driving will be with the top down and a ton of wind noise anyway. C.J.
