Default 1967 Corvette

I am looking to purchase this 1967 Corvette and I’m looking for an expert to possibly take a look at the car and give me their opinion. It received NCRS Top Flight awards in 2004. The car is located in Florida, negotiating with seller now. Looking for a local expert for advice. Car is near Merritt island, FL. I own two newer Vettes but I’m not a C2 expert.

2004 is a long time ago as these things go, many things can change is 18 years. Definitely hire an expert to go over it for you!

I'm no "expert" but do have 50+ years of experience with C2s. In my observation the pop rivet stems on the trim tag on this car appear to be atypically shallow/close to the rivet head. Perhaps that is just the straight on camera angle and /or lighting, Also there are some marks on that trim tag around the rivet heads that should be looked at closely to see if the rivets had been manipulated.

That all may be nothing but if I were interested in buying that car I would definitely want those things examined closely,

I can tell after watching Mecum that color was the #1 color for 1967 Corvettes.

I saw this on FB
The guy that owns it now hasn't owned it very long. Look up Mike Lemek on Facebook and he may be able to help you
