Default Tach problem

Had to have the tach and Speedo rebuilt. Tach didn’t wk woken Igor the car. After reinstalling the tack with a new bulb the tach is working but the light keeps flashing. Checked connections and the bulb more than once. I’m stumped.

Mike - I'm guessing you're talking about a midyear, not a solid axle? If so, when you said you installed a new tach 'with a new bulb' not sure what you meant? There's a bunch of bulbs attached to the cluster, a bunch of gray wire bulbs are for instrument panel illumination, others are for turn signals and as mentioned, flashing warning lights for the Parking Brake and Headlight Pods. Those last two use a #257 flashing bulb. Any chance that's what you installed into a gray wire panel light socket?
