Absolutely McJacks but for a substantial savings and ceramic coated Hedman Headers have a good long tube headers , I have them on my 327, no issues they bolted right up.
Love my Hedmans. Had them for around 10 years so far. I'd be hard pressed to buy any others without the ball at the end versus a gasket, to be honest. They also appear to have a good, thick flange.

What are you going to do with the car? If you are never going to have open exhausts, like at the track, it probably wont matter much what you put on it. If you plan on drag racing it, Hooker 2134s is what you want. Back when Hedman made the Pro Husler, that was an excellent header. Admittedly I am very critical of any header that ‘pops back’ on deceleration or coming down from revs.
I think some of the late model Vettes and the Cadillac CTS-Vs with the ‘cutout switch’ sound like dog crap. Exactly like an old 348 straight out of the manifolds. A well tuned small block with a set of equal length long tube headers makes a really sweet sound

I am pretty sure they only offer fender well/ side exit. Great headers!! Bring your wallet
Charles55 if you have the Stahl/acp headers, you know exactly what I am getting at when talking about what headers should sound like. Especially open. I looked at ACP for my 62, and they said they could make me a set as they still had the jig, but I would have to lose the mud guard/ bottom fender to frame support. I figure my street car needs all the support there it can get so I passed. They are a work of art. Comparing them to anything else is apples to oranges. acp headers are for someone who knows the difference between true equal length headers and a bunch of pipes that will bolt on a motor and get rid of the exhaust. $1400 is a pretty big hit though.

I have posted this before and trust me if your not into wasting money for a name then Summit Racing brand. They are a better fit and made better then Hookers. Better fit around the starter plugs and better ground clearance. Same thickness flange and tube. And 120 bucks.Have them on my 500hp 383 they work great
I have A 67 coupe 327 looking to put Headers on Long tube is there A set. That fits without A lot of mods
You will need a way to mount your alternator. This will go a lot easier if you purchase headers that don't have exposed welds..., and they just look a whole lot nicer.
I've had a set of long tube Hedmans on my 65 for 40 years. Obviously happy with them but will look at those Summit versions when these need to be replaced.
