Does anybody have experience with the cheapo Muncie 4 speed gears from Ebay?

If Autogear makes these parts, they should be fine. If not, go elsewhere.

I used AutoGear products to rebuild Muncies when I can. Not saying they are better, and sometimes the vendor on Ebay is a known retailer using a code name to hide behind.

How can you tell if Autogear made the parts? Is there a specific part number or stamp on them?

The gears from Autogear that I have seen have AGE somewhere on them.

Also, you cannot go wrong with Autogear or Larry Fischer with D&L Transmission. I have been doing my 4sp business with Larry for over 35yrs. There are other reliable sources, but Larry has been such a great person to do business with, so I see no need to change.
