I've only read good things about Blackstone and used them for one analysis to see current condition and set a baseline for my '67's original, never-rebuilt engine about a year ago. As I recall, the report came back with no major issues of contamination or unusual particle count. Will do another followup submission in another year or two (not very many miles put on the engine per year) when I change the oil.

I've used Blackstone in the past. They provide good data along with a nice analysis of what the data say. If you send in subsequent samples, they will comment on the changes they see.
