I’m uncertain about the correct direction of staple insertion in the cooling shroud and in the area around the upper A arms. The pictures below are from my 1965 Corvette. Are they installed correctly?
I can't really tell what the first picture is of and what I am looking at, but the staples on the second picture look good. Nice spacing, direction and placement in relation to the A arm cover. Nicely done! C.J.
The first picture is looking down at the fan shroud from inside the engine compartment. If you look closely you can see one staple. Sorry for poor picture. So is the continuous part of staple supposed to be inside of fan shroud with the ends that are bent underside the car or the other way around?
