Default gauge restoration

Has anyone installed new reproduction gauges and how accurate were they. Or would you have the old ones recalibrated and use the old ones. I am not looking for a restoration just want the gauges to work

I purchased a small gauge set for my 63, but have not installed just yet. For the most part, I believe most everyone on the forum will recommend that you use your originals and to stay away from repros. Good luck. 👍. Mike

I have a combination of orig and repro. I see no problems with them except the oil pressure gauge. The brass block on the back can move when tightening the oil line, causing the needle to move off zero. Dennis

Lots of threads on where to get a gauge cluster restored/refreshed, but any recent experience/recommendations of vendors? Want to address a shaky battery gauge, faded tach, and headlight indicator light.
