Default A Car Show Weekend Wrap Up - Corvette's and a few other things... including a 'Thing'

It was a busy weekend with Car Shows in the area this past weekend..... The Corvette Show at the XXX Root Beer in Issaquah on Sunday, the Goodguy's Show in Puyallup Saturday and the Exotics at Redmond Town Center on Saturday morning...... Here are some of the Corvette's.... and a few others......

XXX Root Beer Corvette Show.....

When you cannot decide if you should have a coupe or convertible..... you get one of each, like this fellow has done.....

It's For Sale!!!

Had to include this C7......

..... because it had the coolest passenger......

Goodguy's Show...... a gazillion cars of every make and model, and condition.....

A really nice '67.....

Some other cars that caught my attention...... I am not really a 'stock' kind of guy......

How can you not include a 'Thing'???

And this one reminded me of some of the models I built when I was a kid..... powered by twin Jag V-12's.....

How do you connect side by side twin V-12's to the rear end??? Like this.......

Exotics at RTC...... not as many cars as most other weekends..... but keeping the Corvette theme alive was this Z06......

And lastly, because I think trucks are cool...... Kenworth is celebrating 100 years, and local company PACCAR has had trucks attending events all over to celebrate, and let you climb in and see what it would be like to drive a big rig...... they said this thing gets 12mpg hauling 80,000 pounds..... and it looks cool......

They also had a heavy haul truck with 605 horsepower and ONLY 1,850 foot pounds of torque..... they said ONLY, because you can get one with 2,050 foot pounds of torque.....

I'd love to hear this thing running, just don't slam on the brakes or rear end anyone....

Lots of activity. Decent amount of C2s at that 1st show. Goodguys always seems to attract a good amount of high end rods and customs. Unfortunately they have decided the north east does not warrant their participation. I'm sure that KW big rig is a healthy piece of change. Certainly worth taking advantage of climbing up behind the wheel.
Thanks for sharing.
